The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) is delaying the launch of its Civil Online system in order to invest more time in extensive testing.

The SCTS had initially aimed to launch the system to coincide with the introduction of Simple Procedure on 28 November, but this is now delayed until early 2017. More information is available in their news update.

The new Simple Procedure Rules provide for a method of sending documents using the portal on the SCTS website. This option will not be available until the launch of the Civil Online system.
