Two new bankruptcy Rules have been made.

This Act of Sederunt, 2016 No. 313 Act of Sederunt (Sheriff Court Bankruptcy Rules) 2016, makes provision for new sheriff court bankruptcy rules under the Bankruptcy (S) Act 2016. 

While, this Act of Sederunt, 2016 No.312 Act of Sederunt (Rules of the Court of Session, Sheriff Appeal Court Rules and Sheriff Court Rules Amendment) (Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016) 2016, makes provision for new chapter 72 to be inserted into the Rules of the Court of Session to implement changes arising from implementation of the 2016 Act. This instrument also includes transitional arrangements and consequential amendments arising from implementation of the Act.
